The Team Principal
When people ask us why we are going for the World Landspeed Record for a Lawnmower we always give them the same answer. Or course this thing excites us - it is a great challenge and we want to take back the record for Britain. But we don't forget why it all started. Not long ago Stephen Vokins, our Team Principal underwent major heart surgery - surgery that saved his life. He had the dream of breaking this record but his dream appeared to have no future. Then, during his recovery Countax contacted him, and this immediately revived the idea. Stephen wanted to do it in support of the two charities that had made such a difference to him.
We very much hope to raise more than the modest budget needed for the attempt, and all surplus funds will be going to the two charities.
